The business registration number called the BRN number in Indian is a unique number that is allocated by the Registrar of Companies (ROC). The ROC is found in different states in India and is under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It is used to locate the essential details of any organization enrolled in India. When to Renew Business Registration?
For enlisted business, a business registration renewal demand note will be sent by the Business Registration Office around in the middle of the month preceding the initiation month of the renewal Business Registration Certificate. Suppose if the renewal Business Registration Certificate will start in May, the Business Registration Office will give the interest note in mid-April. Upon payment, the interest note will turn into a valid Business Registration Certificate. If you don’t get such an interest note, you have to inform the Commissioner recorded as a hard copy within 1 month of the expiry of your present Business Registration Certificate.
If the business registration renewal request note isn’t received after the expiry of the Business Registration Certificate and Branch Registration Certificate or you lost the renewal demand note, the renewal can still be done either in person or by post.
